“Seafood Surprise” is a mashup of several vintage Jell-O salad recipes I’ve seen online. Shrimp and hard boiled eggs were very common, and on another one I saw a draped lobster tail. Since my creations are always as maximalist as possible, I decided on three lobster tails, with shrimp and eggs on the sides. It sits on a bed of fancy lettuce with lemon wedges, cherry tomatoes and olives.
This piece is mounted on a heavy, solid wood platter painted gold, and is wired and ready to hang on the wall.
