The day I was inspired to make this piece, I was in the produce aisle at the grocery store, and I noticed that the produce guy had a cheery Hawaiian shirt with a red background and white flowers and green leaves. It only stands to reason that a Christmas-colored, Hawaiian-themed suitcase could only have one name: "Mele Kalikimaka," which is the Merry Christmas greeting in Hawaiian, and made famous by the Bing Crosby song.
This is a custom 3D sculpture, and it is mounted on a wooden backing board. The piece is wired and ready to hang.
