"Hello Kitty" was based on vintage 'train cases' ladies used to take on railway trips. These cute, chubby boxes with handles on top would hold makeup and have a built-in mirror. "Hello Kitty" features a pair of cat eyes and an overall cheetah print fabric in sequins. The fabric for this case came from a men's jacket I bought in a Salvation Army Thrift Store. It was a thrill to find, because I've never seen this sequin fabric before.
This piece is wired and ready to hang on the wall, but it can also sit on a shelf.
Please note: This is not a 'real' suitcase. This is a custom made 3d wall sculpture that is designed to 'look' like a suitcase. All of my pieces are NON FUNCTIONAL except as ART.
