A frequent question I get asked is "how did you get into sequins?" One inspiration came from those beaded and sequined fruits that people made in the 70s to display in a bowl. I still think they're a cool craft idea, and this piece twists that concept in a new direction. I've been wanting to try something that is outlined in black sequins, like cartoon lines. Three different shades of green sequins were used to make the bowl, and it really sets off the fruit. Cartoon Fruit Bowl is wired and ready to hang on the wall.
