2025, mixed media with sequins & beads, 19" x 20" x 11"
"CandyLand" is a three dimensional wall sculpture of a luscious red mouth with a stylized version of the Candyland boardgame on its tongue, and it's covered entirely in sequins! The candy beads mimic gum drops, gummy bears, gum balls, and lollipops. The teeth are candy colored with multicolored stripes, and this piece literally comes off the wall with her tongue stretching out for almost 1 foot of total depth! CandyLand is the latest in my ongoing 'red mouth' series, and they never hang around my studio for very long.
