"A Ludicrously Capacious Bag" was entirely inspired by an episode from the television series "Succession" on HBO. There's a scene where Cousin Greg's date is carrying a Burberry bag that is mercilessly mocked for being far too large. I thought it would be fun to create this "monster bag" and I've made it as close to scale as possible. The joke is that it's a perfectly normal sized bag, but not to the super rich who have no need to schlep anything.

This piece is built onto a wooden backing board, and it is wired and ready to hang on the wall, but it can also sit on a shelf. The handles will support its weight if grabbed or hung that way as well. Please note: It is an art sculpture, and not a real handbag.

Refund Policy

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. To start a return, you can contact us at beckbaumann@gmail.com.

The buyer will pay the return shipping fees, and use the original packaging if possible. We will notify you once we've received your return, and you'll be refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. If more than 15 business days have passed since we've received your return, please contact us at beckbaumann@gmail.com.

Damages and issues: All pieces are packed as carefully as possible, however if the artwork is damaged during shipping we offer two ways to resolve the issue:

  1. The buyer may return the damaged artwork for a full refund.
  1. The buyer may return the damaged artwork for repairs (upon consultation with Beck).
